Lalit Doshi Memorial Award
GoodEarth AgroChem Private Limited (GAPL) has been honoured with the prestigious Lalit Doshi Memorial Award for 2010-11. The award is instituted by SICOM Limited and The Lalit Doshi Memorial Foundation. The award was presented by renowned journalist, Padma Bhushan Shekhar Gupta, editor-in-chief of The Indian Express on 4th August 2011 at a formal ceremony held at the Y. B. Chavan Auditorium in Mumbai. The presentation of the award was in the presence of eminent personalities and industrialists such as Mr. Adi Godrej, Mr. Anand Mahindra, Mr. Keshub Mahindra and Mr. Sajjan Jindal amongst many others, who each congratulated our company's Director, Mr. Rahul Budhraja, and offered their best wishes to him and the company.
This highly coveted accolade is conferred on businesses and companies which have displayed exceptional performance abilities. A host of factors are considered such as the economic well-being of the company, the background of the promoters, the technology employed, innovation in the product, exports and financial prudence. However, what makes 2010-11’s award even more special is the fact that unlike in previous years, in 2010-11 the award wasn't given to a company from a predetermined industry category. Thrown open to companies across all industries simply meant that competition was even more intense than usual.

GoodEarth AgroChem Pvt. Ltd. was awarded Gaurav Chinha (Symbol of Pride) for the year 2009 by the District Industries Centre, Nagpur (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises; Government of Maharashtra). The award was presented by Hon’ble Collector of Nagpur, Mr. Pravin Darade on 6th April 2010 at a formal ceremony held at Udhyog Bhavan, Nagpur. This accolade is conferred upon manufacturing units that exhibit rapid and consistent growth, especially in challenging times such as in 2009, when both the domestic and the world economy were facing strong headwinds.
